Welcome to Carver!
It is with great excitement that I welcome you all back to the “A” rated George Washington Carver Elementary for the 2018-2019 school year! I remain honored and humbled to continue to lead the Carver family and embark upon a new voyage towards academic excellence and first class service. Our theme for this new school year is “Learning Takes Flight” where we will be ascending to higher altitudes in learning! So, please prepare for a first class flight!
The beginning of each school year is always an exciting time, as it presents opportunities for new beginnings and fresh starts. Your child’s time this year, will be a time to grow, to challenge themselves, and enjoy the adventure of learning.
Our goal is to help students to: grow academically, achieve their creative potential, explore the world via our international magnet programs, all while encouraging a love for learning. We will strive towards building a community where students are encouraged to display good character and make good choices, highlighting the importance of core values.
CARVER PRIDE will continue to be strengthened by our partnerships with our community and parents. The active participation of students, staff, parents, and community stakeholders are essential for our success. Therefore, I encourage you all to sign up to join the PTA, become a Lead Parent, and participate in the many family activities and learning opportunities that we will offer throughout the year.
